From the Grand Canyon to Zion: A 21-Day Journey Through the Wild Southwest
Hoodoos and pine trees under a brilliant blue sky — a classic view from the trails of Bryce Canyon National Park.
We spent three unforgettable weeks on the road, doing this itinerary as a camping adventure—tenting under the stars and waking up surrounded by nature. We only checked into hotels a couple of times along the way, mainly to enjoy some well-earned hot showers and a few modern comforts. That said, this trip is incredibly versatile and can easily be tailored to your travel style. If you prefer a more luxurious experience, consider a “glamping” approach or staying in hotels at each stop for maximum comfort. Depending on where you’re coming from, flying into Las Vegas and renting a car is a convenient option. With its vibrant nightlife and world-class entertainment, Vegas makes for an exciting bookend to your road trip.
